Production

The assignment behind Scopes was to quickly design and prototype a tool for enhancing a sense. Our design group decided on adapting the periscope. PVC piping was first attached to a pair of plastic toy eye glass frames. Four small mirrors were then carefully positioned with the piping so that when a user looks inside the frames he or she sees through the end of each pipe. The piping may be tilted to divert vision in different directions.
