synopsis
Each first year student in the Interactive Telecommunications Program was asked to observe the entire M5 bus route, from Houston and La Guardia to 178th Street and Broadway (and back again). With this project, I collected and compiled the audio, visual, and textual observations from multiple students, each with their own varying perspectives and relationships to New York.techniques used in the included observations
text, drawings, video, digital photography, google map tagging, twitter text messaging, digital audio recording and compositionThe video below is my personal inclusion in the M5 project (audio and video observations of nighttime illuminations along the bus route).
